Hmmm..how shall i start my blog leh? Haha! Don't know how to begin. It has been a long time since I blog in here. Better start to do so, in case friends complain that i am eating snake. Lol! =p
Oh well! On the day of my birthday, baobei was actually thinking of going to Chomp Chomp @ Serangoon to have a nice dinner with me. However, Hong Xing suggested to meet up since he's coming back from Tampines to Ang Mo Kio to have dinner with us. So all of us ended up meeting @ 1730 hours at Ang Mo Kio Hub. The people that were present includes Hong Xing and his gf, Ken, Yong Hao, my baobei and not forgetting me. ^-^ At least there is a crowd to celebrate birthday with me. Haha! =p After a long time cracking our brain as to where we wanted to have dinner, Hong Xing finally suggested to have it at Ichiban. However, Ichiban's table was like too small for the 6 of us. Therefore we went to New York New York to have our meal instead. We queued for i think 15 mins. Luckily no need to wait for very long. Baobei gave the chocolate cake to the manager to be placed in the fridge.
Now talking about the food time. =)) There were a lot of items on the menu. We took a real long time to decide what to eat. Let me recall what did each of us ordered. Heh!! Baobei ordered the Pork Lasgna (Taste not so nice); i ordered the roast chicken set and a root beer float (Not bad!!); Although i was thinking real hard what to order coz i also love to try the pasta and maybe the Steak as well. [Greedy hor??] Yong Hao ordered the roast chicken set, hot chocolate & some creamy drink; Ken ordered a steak and some creamy drink as well; Hong Xing ordered the pasta chicken set whilst his gf ordered the fish and chips with coffee float. The dishes took about half an hour before each of them were served to us. All of us took our own sweet time enjoying our meal and we were talking about from my birthday to other interesting stuff such as playing coin tricks and taking pose on the camera. LOL!! It was really fun!!! Yong Hao showed us tricks on 50 cent coins and 10 cent coins. Heex! Then he designed he finished roast chicken in a "HI" word. Ha Ha!!! Oh!!! I forgot about the side dishes that we ordered!!! =p
The side dishes are:-
Toasted garlic bread, Freedom cheesy and creamy fries, Calamari and some toasted stuff. {I forget} Ha Ha! Coz there were many things to eat and slurp. After our heavy meal, we sat around to chill and chat chat for a while before asking the manager to bring out the cake. The people there took a real hell of a long time to take out the cake!! All of us were wondering how come it took so long to serve just a cake. Well...Guess what? They were preparing a surprise for me!! Weeee!!! There were bells, tamborines and a birthday song sang to me by New York New York staff. I was shocked and happy that so many people celebrated for me. What a wonderful remembrance night! *Smiles!* After we had a delicious and sumptuous meal, we went to play pool for a while before proceeding back home. Baobei gave half of the leftover cake to me and left another half for his sister to eat. He even gave me a nice pressie of two bears with a LOVE in the middle. So NICE of him!! Muackies baobei! =) I love the present very much.
Hehe! There are simply too many things to write le. LOL!! All in all, i had a super good day yesterday. I would like to give a very big thanks to baobei's friends.
